Enhanced Support and Stability

While the Sony FX9 and FS7mkII feature positive locking mounts that provide native stability, this kit includes a 1/4-20 support foot for additional security. When used with the Unified Baseplate and Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit, the weight of heavy cinema glass is transferred directly to the camera rig, preventing flexing or damage to the mount. If using the adapter without a cage, the included WC Lens Adapter Universal Support Foot attaches to the bottom of the camera for maximum rigidity.

Precision Shimmable Design

Each adapter is factory-calibrated using professional collimation tools. If your camera sensor alignment is slightly out of spec, you can easily adjust the back focus. By loosening six socket cap screws, you can insert color-coded shims of varying thicknesses to achieve perfect calibration. A PL cap is also included to protect your sensor when a lens is not mounted.
