The Wooden Camera LW 15mm Baseplate is a specialized quick-release solution designed specifically for the Canon C70. It provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the industry-standard lens height, ensuring compatibility with matte boxes and follow focus units. The 15mm rods pass through from front to back, secured by two locking thumb screws per side for maximum stability.

Advanced Quick Release & Safety

This baseplate features an upper ARCA Swiss standard dovetail equipped with a 3/8"-16 screw and a locating pin for a secure camera connection. The dovetail slides into the baseplate core and includes a push-pull safety release pin to prevent accidental detachment. Additionally, an integrated vertical lens support post system provides extra stability for heavy glass.

Universal Rigging Options

The lower dovetail slot follows the ARRI standard, allowing for direct attachment to compatible ARRI dovetails or the included Quick Dovetail. When used with the Quick Dovetail, the system can be integrated with 19mm or 15mm Studio Quick Release Bridgeplates. For accessory mounting, the baseplate offers ARRI standard M6 rosettes on both sides, multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes, and a 3/8"-16 ARRI accessory mount on the camera-right side.
