Professional Lens Adaptation for Sony E-Mount
The Wooden Camera Sony E-Mount to ARRI LPL Mount Adapter enables the use of ARRI LPL Signature Prime Lenses on Sony E-Mount Full Frame Alpha series cameras. This passive adapter provides a secure, professional-grade connection for high-end cinematography workflows.
Integrated Support and Stability
To ensure maximum stability and eliminate strain on the camera mount, this adapter includes a dedicated foot with a 1/4-20 threaded hole for direct tripod attachment. For rig integration, the support foot connects natively to the Unified DSLR Cage via the vertical support hole and the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit. A protective LPL Cap is included to keep the sensor clear of dust when a lens is not mounted.
Precision Shimming and Calibration
Each adapter is factory-calibrated using professional collimation tools. If your camera requires specific adjustment, the flange focus can be modified by loosening six socket cap screws to add color-coded shims. It is recommended to check back focus with a wide lens focused to infinity or professional collimation equipment.
Compatibility and Technical Notes
- ARRI LPL to PL Adapter: Fully compatible, allowing seamless transitions between standard PL and LPL glass.
- Passive Design: This mount does not communicate electronic lens data to the camera body.
- Important Restriction: Not compatible with Sony cameras featuring a positive locking E-Mount, such as the Sony FX9 and FS7mkII.
