Zacuto Sony Z300 Z-Finder loupe

The Zacuto Sony Z300 Z-Finder is a custom optical viewfinder designed for the Sony PXW-Z300 camcorder. It mounts directly to the camera’s swivel LCD and turns the flip-out screen into a clear, magnified viewfinder for professional shooting.

With 2.5x optical magnification and an adjustable diopter, the Z-Finder helps operators judge focus more accurately in different lighting conditions. The design is especially useful outdoors, where glare on an LCD screen can turn monitoring into a tiny punishment ritual.

The quick flip-up frame lets users switch quickly between looking through the viewfinder and viewing the LCD from a distance. This makes it practical for handheld work, ENG shooting, documentary production and other fast-moving camera setups.

A large lightproof rubber eyecup helps block extraneous light for more comfortable, glare-free viewing. It also adds an extra point of contact between the camera and the operator’s eye, helping improve stability during handheld operation.

The Z-Finder for Sony Z300 includes the optical viewfinder, rubber eyecup and lens cap. Since the Z-Finder is a magnifier, the lens cap should be used when the finder is not in use to prevent direct sunlight from damaging the LCD screen.
