The Zacuto Z-Finder Pro 2.5x is a premium optical viewfinder designed to give DSLR cameras the correct form factor for professional video production. By magnifying the LCD screen by 2.5x, it allows for critical focus and provides an essential point of stability when shooting handheld. This package includes the Z-Finder 3.2 inch Mounting Frame, specifically tailored for small body DSLRs like the Canon 5D Mark IV and Nikon D800.

High-Quality Optics and Customization

The Z-Finder Pro features a 40mm diameter Zacuto optical lens with anti-fog coated protective covers. The built-in diopter allows you to dial in the focus to match your eyesight perfectly. For users who are farsighted, the included stackable Z-Finder Extender Frames can be used to extend the glass further from the LCD to achieve a clear image.

Robust Mounting System

The system attaches via the Gorilla Plate V2, which secures to the bottom of your camera using a 1/4 20 inch screw. The metal mounting frame is backed with rubber to prevent slippage and scratches, attaching to the plate with red thumb screws. This design allows the Z-Finder to be snapped on and off quickly without the need for magnets or adhesives.

Important Usage Notes

1. Frame Fitment: This model comes standard with a 3.2 inch mounting frame for small body DSLRs. It fits cameras like the Canon 5D MIII/MIV or Nikon D800/600. Any other frames for tall cameras or battery grips must be purchased separately.

2. Gorilla Plate Alignment: The tapped holes on the Gorilla Plate V2 are offset from the lens center. If using with rigs that require centered alignment for matte boxes, a Gorilla Plate Adapter or adhesive frame may be required.

3. Mounting Restrictions: The Gorilla Plate must be positioned directly underneath the camera. It is not compatible with L-brackets or Arca Swiss contour plates. For these setups, an adhesive mounting frame is recommended.
