Professional 12G-SDI Audio Integration

The AJA 12G-AM-R is a high-performance 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder Mini-Converter designed for the demands of 4K and UltraHD workflows. This specialized model includes an LC Fiber Rx SFP, allowing for the reception of 12G-SDI signals over long distances with minimal signal degradation. Whether used in broadcast, live production, or post-production, the 12G-AM-R provides a robust solution for managing high-bandwidth digital video and audio.

Versatile Audio Management

Audio flexibility is at the core of the 12G-AM-R. Disembedding is always functional, providing four AES outputs for external monitoring or processing. Audio embedding is user-selectable on a channel pair basis, giving operators the choice to pass 12G-SDI input audio or embed new AES audio from the included breakout cable. The device features automatic input video standard detection, ensuring seamless integration into any production environment.
