ARRI ALEXA LF Internal Filter Module (IFM) Optical Clear

The ARRI Internal Filter Module (IFM) is a precision system designed to hold a single FSND filter behind the lens. This internal placement offers significant advantages for high-end cinematography, particularly when using the ALEXA LF.

By filtering behind the lens rather than in front, camera operators can save time and reduce the overall weight of the rig. This setup also minimizes reflections and complexity while effectively decreasing narcissism (internal sensor reflections).

Technical Compatibility and Requirements:

Compatible with the internal Filter Module of ALEXA LF cameras.
Not compatible with any generation of the ALEXA Studio.
Requires the use of the supplied shim to adjust the camera's flange focal depth accordingly.
