The Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 8x12G SFP is a high-density rackmount solution designed to integrate 12G-SDI broadcast equipment into SMPTE-2110 IP video systems. Featuring eight independent bidirectional converters, this 1RU unit allows for simultaneous conversion of SDI sources to IP and IP streams back to SDI. With SFP modules included, it provides immediate compatibility with optical fiber Ethernet for long-distance signal transmission.

Advanced Connectivity and Standards

This converter supports all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p60. It includes nine SDI inputs and nine SDI outputs (including program loops), with support for SDI rates from 270Mb to 12G. For audio, it handles 16 channels of embedded audio on both SDI and ST-2110 IP streams. The inclusion of a dedicated 10/100/1000 BASE-T RJ-45 port ensures seamless configuration and firmware updates via Ethernet or USB-C.
