The Blackmagic Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G allows you to convert from SDI and SMPTE optical fiber to HDMI with ease. By inserting your choice of SMPTE optical fiber module, you can transmit video and embedded audio over massive distances using 3G, 6G, or 12G-SDI technology. This converter is ideal for broadcast and live production environments where long-distance signal integrity is critical.

Equipped with professional 12G-SDI and XLR connections, this model includes a built-in down converter. This allows for viewing Ultra HD sources on standard HD displays, ensuring compatibility across your existing monitor setup. The 12G-SDI input automatically switches between SD, HD, 2K, and 4K formats.

The unit features two channels of professional balanced analog audio or four channels of AES/EBU digital audio via XLR connectors. For remote management, the integrated Ethernet port allows for administration via Mac or Windows software. You can also enhance the unit with an optional Teranex Mini Smart Panel for front-mounted LCD monitoring and tactile button controls.
