The Blackmagic URSA Cine 17K 65 features a groundbreaking new sensor designed for unparalleled image quality across all resolutions. Building on the success of the URSA Mini Pro 12K, this larger 65mm sensor utilizes larger photo-sites to achieve an astounding 16 stops of dynamic range. The unique RGBW architecture provides equal amounts of red, green, and blue pixels, optimized to deliver incredibly rich colors and the ultimate flexibility in post-production.

Professional Cinema Construction

Designed to meet the rigorous demands of high-end sets, the URSA Cine is built with a robust magnesium alloy chassis and a lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin. The evenly weighted body allows for quick movement on set. Industry-standard Lemo and Fischer connectors provide remote camera control and power for lens motors, while the unit includes 12G-SDI out, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, and professional XLR audio.

Interchangeable Lens Mounts

Versatility is at the core of the URSA Cine, featuring an interchangeable lens mount system that allows users to switch quickly between PL, LPL, EF, and Hasselblad mounts. Each mount includes contact pins to read lens metadata, ensuring critical information is available for monitoring and use in post-production workflows.

Advanced Monitoring and Workflow

The URSA Cine streamlines on-set operations with multiple monitoring options. It features a fold-out 5-inch HDR touchscreen and an external color status LCD. A second 5-inch HDR touchscreen on the right side serves as a dedicated assist station, allowing crew members to work around the camera without external monitors. For focus pullers, a dedicated mode ensures perfect sharpness for every shot.

High-Speed Recording and Connectivity

Equipped with the Blackmagic Media Module, the camera provides 8TB of high-performance internal storage. This module is compatible with the Blackmagic Media Dock for fast transfers. Connectivity is further enhanced by 7-pin Lemo and 3-pin Fischer connectors for start/stop control and 24V power, alongside 10G Ethernet for high-speed cloud workflows.
