The Sony AXS-A512S48 AXS Memory A Series card is engineered for ultra-high speed, high capacity, and professional reliability. It is designed for demanding 4K and 2K 16-bit linear RAW formats, including X-OCN (ST and LT). This media supports High Frame Rate (HFR) recording up to 120fps in 4K resolution and 240fps in 2K resolution, making it essential for high-end cinematography.
* HFR up to 120 fps in 4K resolution is only supported by AXS-R7 with PMW-F55.
Optimized Workflow and Hardware Compatibility
The AXS-A512S48 features a guaranteed write speed of 4.8 Gbps and a 512GB capacity. It integrates seamlessly with the AXS-R7 Portable Memory Recorder, AXS-R5 2K / 4K RAW recorders, and the AXS-CR1 USB 3.0 card reader using the required adapter. It is the ideal choice for PMW-F55, PMW-F5, PXW-FS7, and NEX-FS700 RAW workflows.
Compact Design and Power Efficiency
Measuring just 35 x 75 x 8 mm, this A Series card is smaller and lighter than previous generations, sharing the same height and width dimensions as SxS Memory cards. The advanced design uses less power and provides more effective ventilation compared to the AXS-512S24 model.

- 2K RAW: Approximately 470 min at 23.98PsF, 188 min at 60p, and 48 min at 240fps.
