Advanced X-OCN Recording Format

The AXS-R7 introduces the X-OCN (Extended tonal range Original Camera Negative) format. This system captures the full 16-bit linear data from the sensor while maintaining manageable bitrates. Choose between X-OCN ST (Standard) for visually lossless quality at 70% the size of RAW, or X-OCN LT (Light) for extended recording times with 40% the data size of traditional F55RAW.

High-Speed Capture and Slow Motion

Push your creative boundaries with doubled 4K RAW recording speeds. The AXS-R7 supports up to 120 fps in 4K for the F55, and up to 240 fps in 2K RAW for both the F5 and F55. This allows for stunning 10x super slow-motion playback, perfect for high-end drama and action sequences.

30-Second Cache Recording

Never miss a critical moment with the integrated 30-second cache recording feature. While in standby mode, the recorder can buffer up to 30 seconds of 4K RAW or X-OCN footage (at 23.98p), making it an essential tool for wildlife and documentary filmmakers capturing spontaneous action.
