The Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage (Large) is a premium, height-adjustable rigging solution designed specifically for larger camera bodies. Whether you are shooting with a Canon 1DC, 1DX mkII, Nikon D5, or a standard DSLR with a battery grip installed, this cage provides a secure foundation without obstructing vital controls.

The minimalist, open-shoe design ensures that your camera's hot shoe remains accessible for audio adapters or flashes. The right-side grip and left-side controls remain fully visible and unobstructed, allowing for seamless operation during high-pressure shoots. For cameras with fold-out LCD screens, the cage allows for easy positioning and full articulation.

Modular Handle and Rod Support

This cage features a reversible top handle that can be repositioned to clear XLR adapters or folded down for compact transport. The handle includes a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp, ideal for attaching UVF Mount kits or electronic viewfinders. For added versatility, the handle can be reconfigured onto the vertical rod as a secondary side grip.

To ensure professional lens accessory compatibility, the cage includes a height-adjustable 15mm lightweight rod clamp. This allows for precise positioning of rods to match the lens center, ensuring your matteboxes and follow focus units align perfectly.
