The Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage (Small) is a minimalist, high-performance rigging solution specifically engineered for the Sony A7 series and Panasonic GH5. Its unique open shoe mount design ensures that top-mounted XLR audio modules can be installed without obstruction, making it the ideal choice for filmmakers requiring high-quality sound recording. The streamlined frame provides essential mounting points while keeping vital camera controls on the right grip and left side fully accessible.

Versatile Handling and Accessory Mounting

This cage features a reversible top handle that can be repositioned over the lens or folded down for compact storage. The handle includes a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp, perfect for attaching UVF Mount kits or electronic viewfinders. For added flexibility, the handle can be reconfigured onto the vertical rod to serve as a secondary side grip.

Secure Connectivity and Quick Release

The base of the cage incorporates a Manfrotto quick release dovetail, allowing for rapid transitions to compatible tripod heads. To protect your hardware, an included HDMI cable clamp secures video cables against the vertical rod, preventing accidental port damage. The integrated lens adapter support system provides stability for heavy glass when using E-Mount or MFT to PL Mount Pro adapters.
